Hi guys,
Thank you for joining us with our blog. We want to keep you updated on lots of different things within the salon but within the hairdressing industry as well.
We will just give you a little insight to who we are. I’ll keep it short and sweet so no one gets bored! HAHA!
We have now been open for 5 years!!! And we are still going strong. We have an amazing team that are passionate about their work and love to get creative with our clients.
Kaysha has taken the big step to have baby number 3! So, she is currently on maternity leave and will not be back working until 2021. She will still be running the ship from home but will get the well needed time off with her baby boy (we have tried to get her to take some time off from the business, but she can’t help herself)
Tamsyn is passionate about colouring hair, she loves to get creative with vivid colours!
Last year she did a course in ear piercing as we found there weren’t a lot of places around Weston that did this.
Abbie has made big steps within her career, she entered her very first competition last year and got to the finals in LONDON! Unfortunately, it wasn’t her year for the win, but it has given her the confidence to push herself more and get even more creative! Bring on 2020… If we can!
Little Lauren, our newest member of the team. She has just finished college and is going to continue doing in-house training with us. She’s still our quietest, but I don’t think that will last long! She loves colouring and wants to become a certified colourist.
Once we have settled back into the salon, Lauren will be looking for some models to continue her training, so keep your eyes peeled!?
Lockdown has been a very interesting time for us, we have all done a variety of courses throughout the time to progress in our careers and build our knowledge. We all have different interests so there has been a range of certificates in different areas, poor Kaysha got bombarded with so many certificates to go up in the salon when we re-open!
We’ve had ‘zoom’ meetings to discuss plans for when we re-open, but to be honest it was just for a good catch up with each other. We didn’t do much ‘business’ talking… sorry Kaysha!
We can’t wait to get back in the salon and start sorting out all those roots!
